Umbra Sumus (We Are But Shadows) is a series of paintings made for a collaborative installation of individual works with Bethe Bronson and Laura Marker at Walcot Chapel, once a mortuary set on the edge of Bath, on a hillside surrounded by a graveyard full of flowers and trees. A place of Memento Mori. Mirror is an ongoing series made using a vintage car wing mirror. Its convex, dirty and dusty surface partially obscures what it reflects and by placing the mirror in different locations gives rise to an impressionist portrait of that place with my presence on the periphery.
